For dental practice owners
We buy dental practices. Directly.
Not a listing. Not a broker taking a commission out of your price. Wolfson Equity acquires and invests in dental practices as a principal, with our own capital — which is why we approach owners ourselves rather than waiting for practices to come to market.
If we called or emailed you
You were right to check us out first. Every person who contacts owners is pictured, named and verifiable on our verify page — including a list of what we will never ask you for.
There is no obligation in a conversation, and “not interested” is an answer we hear most days and respect immediately.
The distinction that matters
A buyer, a broker, and why you should care.
Most people who contact dentists about selling are intermediaries. We are not, and the difference changes your economics.
A broker lists your practice, markets it, and takes a commission — commonly 6 to 10 percent — out of the sale price. That fee is real money, and the listing itself is a confidentiality risk.
We are the buyer. We use our own capital. There is no listing, no advertisement, and no commission removed from your number. The conversation is between you and the people who would actually own the practice.
There is a third option, and we will tell you about it honestly: if you would rather have several qualified buyers competing for your practice with someone representing your side of the table, that is what our sister practice Sentinel Transitions does. Different job, different fee structure, run by a separate team behind a confidentiality wall. Owners frequently do better in a competitive process — and we would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise.
We know this profession
We did not arrive in dentistry last week.
The usual reason an owner ignores a call like ours is the assumption that the caller knows nothing about running a practice. In our case that is easy to disprove.
Wolfson Equity is the investment arm of Buzzy Branding Corp. — the same registered company that has spent years building websites, running marketing and generating new patients for dental practices, orthodontists and Dental Service Organizations.
In that time the team has been featured in and interviewed by dental associations, and hosted Leading Dentistry Through Uncertainty: Compliance, Emotional Intelligence, and Profit — a working conversation among dental leaders about what the profession was actually facing. Members of our senior team have helped dentists sell their practices and helped buyers acquire clinics. Dentists who have worked with us include Dr. Salim Kapadia, Dr. Lionel Lenkinski, Dr. Sam Mazahreh, Dr. Bobby Chagger and Dr. Michael Le.
Our advisory bench includes practising clinicians — Kate McGilloway, DMD, Dr. Gregory Pedro and Dr. Jerry Stahl among them — so the people assessing your practice understand chair time, payor mix and associate retention, not only spreadsheets.
Our team also reviews us publicly — see Wolfson Equity on Glassdoor. You can see that history for yourself at buzzybranding.com/dental.

What we look for
The practices we buy, plainly stated.
We would rather tell you now than waste your afternoon.
Usually a strong fit
- General or specialty practices with steady collections and a stable patient base
- An associate structure, or a practice that could support one
- Owners planning a transition over the next several years, including those who want to keep working
- Clean, explainable financials — or a willingness to get them there
- Real estate owned, leased, or held in a trust; all three are workable when the position is clear
- Owners who care where their team and patients end up
Usually not a fit
- Practices in serious financial distress with no path back to stability
- Owners wanting to leave immediately with no transition at all
- Situations with unresolved regulatory or licensing problems
- Practices where the financial records simply do not exist
- Owners who want a public auction — that is Sentinel Transitions’ job, not ours
If you are on the right-hand list, we will say so on the first call and, where we can, point you somewhere better.
No obligation
What actually happens if you reply.
- A conversation, not a pitch. Twenty minutes. We ask about the practice; you ask whatever you want about us, including who we have bought from before. Nothing signed, no documents needed.
- You get a real number. If you want one, we prepare a valuation range built from actual dental closings — free, and yours to keep whatever you decide.
- Your team and patients come up early. What happens to your staff, your clinical standards and your own role is discussed before price is settled, because for most owners it matters more.
- Nothing becomes public. Ever. No listing, no advertisement, and no contact with your team, your patients, your landlord or your lender.
- You can stop at any point. Including right now. Say the word and we close the file and stop contacting you.
Straight answers
What dentists ask us first.
Does Wolfson Equity actually buy dental practices?
Yes — directly, as a principal, using our own capital. Our family has supported 100+ closings on transactions from $800K to $96M since 2020, and the same company has served dental practices for years under the Buzzy Branding name.
Are you a broker?
No. There is no listing and no commission taken out of your price. If you would prefer representation in a competitive process, Sentinel Transitions does that — and we will tell you when that is the better route for you.
What happens to my staff and patients?
It is negotiated, and it comes up early. Nothing is announced to your team until you decide, and the plan is normally settled before anyone is told.
Do I have to sell if I talk to you?
No. Most owners we speak with are not ready, and many are years out. A conversation gives you a number and a sense of your options. What you do with it is entirely yours.
